Mumbai, April 4 -- A fire broke out at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation's (ONGC) SHP platform in the Mumbai High offshore asset, leaving 10 personnel injured, officials said on Saturday.

The incident occurred on Friday around 7:30 pm, triggering an immediate emergency response from ONGC teams stationed at the site, sources said.

According to initial information, the blaze was swiftly contained and extinguished. Authorities stated that operations at the offshore installation have since been fully normalised, ensuring no disruption to ongoing activities following the incident.
