Kolkata, Oct. 29 -- A fire broke out on the second floor of the State Bank of India (SBI) branch in south Kolkata's Dhakuria area today.
The fire was reported after smoke was seen emanating from the building.
Acting promptly, six firefighting vehicles were rushed to the spot to control the blaze, a fire brigade official said.
The fire was brought under control quickly by the fire department, official sources said.
