Shimla/Solan, Feb. 2 -- A woman was brought dead on Friday afternoon and 31 others injured after a fire broke out in a factory in Himachal Pradesh's Solan, officials said.

Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Social Justice and Empowerment, and Labor and Employment, Colonel Dr. Dhaniram Shandil, reached the spot as soon as he received information about the fire incident.

Colonel Dhani Ram Shandil said that one person died in the mishap and 31 were injured. He said that complete information about nine missing workers has yet to be received.

He said that the fire broke out around 1330 hrs on Friday.
