Palghar, Jan. 22 -- A fire broke out on Thursday morning at the godown of a foam products manufacturing company in Palghar district, causing concern in the area but resulted in no casualties, officials said.
The blaze was reported at around 9 am at the godown of Bhagwati Foam Ltd, located at Chintupada in the Mahim area of Palghar. Thick smoke was seen rising from the premises prompting an immediate response from the local fire brigade.
According to information available on the company's website, Bhagwati Foam Ltd is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of a range of polyurethane foam products used in mattresses, furniture, pillows and various industrial applications.
