Hyderabad, Feb. 8 -- ) A fire broke out at the Telangana Forensic Science Laboratory (TFSL) in Nampally in the city on Saturday, triggering a swift response from emergency services.
No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.
In a release in the evening, TFSL Director Shikha Goel said the fire occurred at around 10:08 am in one of the rooms on the first floor of the laboratory building and was first noticed by an employee.
The smoke alarm system installed on the first floor was activated immediately, alerting staff.
The Fire Department was informed without delay, and fire tenders reached the spot within minutes.
The blaze was fully brought under control by around 1:30 pm.
