Chandigarh, Oct. 21 -- An FIR has been filed against former Punjab DGP Mohammad Mustafa, his wife and ex-Congress minister Razia Sultana, along with their daughter and daughter-in-law, in connection with the death of their 35-year-old son, Aqeel Mustafa.
The case was registered at the Mansa Devi Complex police station in Panchkula under sections 103(1) and 61 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Aqeel, a practising lawyer at the Punjab and Haryana High Court, was found dead at his Panchkula residence on the night of October 16. Initially, the family claimed he died of a drug overdose.
