Guwahati, Feb. 2 -- A civil society organization today lodged an FIR against Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for allegedly making several hate and inflammatory statements against the Muslims of East Bengal origin for the past few days.
The organisation, Assam Civil Society, lodged the First Information Report at Latasil police station in Guwahati and submitted newspaper clippings and audio recording of the statements made by the Assam CM to substantiate its claim.
