Bengaluru, Nov. 22 -- A case of alleged electoral fraud has been registered in Bengaluru after a resident accused unidentified officials and private individuals of facilitating the large-scale inclusion of fake voters in the Mahadevapura Assembly Constituency ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
According to the FIR filed by Y Vinoda, 39, of Nallurhalli, the voter rolls in Mahadevapura, part of Bengaluru Central Parliamentary Constituency, were allegedly manipulated with fictitious names.
Vinoda claimed the additions were substantial, systematic, and aimed at influencing election outcomes.
