Shimla, Sept. 25 -- Himachal Pradesh State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau has registered a criminal case against three former senior engineers of the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEB) and two directors of a private firm for their alleged involvement in a scam that caused a massive financial loss to the state utility.
The FIR filed on the complaint of HPSEB Chairman Sanjay Gupta, names the then Chief Engineer (Operations) Rajesh Kumar Thakur, the then Superintending Engineer (Operations) Anoop Dhiman, the then Chief Engineer (Commercial) Y.R. Sharma, and directors of M/s Gilvert Ispat Private Limited, Abhinav Moudgil and Umesh Moudgil.
