Guwahati, June 23 -- At a time when the BJP-led government in Assam has been putting restrictions on cow slaughter and beef eating, a restaurant in Guwahati has got its name entangled in a controversy relating to the banned meat -- beef.
The incident took place on Sunday when three friends went to a Korean chain restaurant outlet located on the third floor of City Centre Shopping Mall in Guwahati. As the customers wanted to have noodles, the restaurant staff asked them to choose from a variety of packaged noodles. However, failing to understand the language in the packets, the customers asked the restaurant staff to suggest and accordingly the restaurant's staff suggested them a variety of noodles.
