Chandigarh, Nov. 5 -- Punjab Congress president and Ludhiana MP Amrinder Singh Raja Warring has been booked in Kapurthala under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act over alleged derogatory remarks made about late union Minister Boota Singh. The FIR was lodged following a complaint by Boota Singh's son, Sarbjot Singh Sidhu.
According to police, the case has been registered under Sections 353 and 196 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with sections of the SC/ST Act. The controversy stems from a speech in which Warring allegedly said, "Have you heard of Boota Singh?
