Chandigarh, April 14 -- An FIR was registered against the Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa over his "50 bombs in Punjab" statement, and he has been summoned for questioning.

Sources said that the FIR was registered under sections 353 (2), 197 (1) D BNS on Sunday, and an appearance notice was issued for him to reach Cyber Crime Police Station, Mohali at 1200 hrs on Monday. Sources close to Bajwa said his lawyer has sought time, and he will appear on Tuesday.
