Mumbai, July 1 -- Police registered an FIR against a 37 year-old man for allegedly repeatedly raping a married woman for nearly three years by blackmailing her using her obscene video, which he had shot with a hidden camera, an official said here today.
According to police, the complainant is a married woman and resides in the Pathanwadi area of Malad in the city suburb.
In 2022, while she was taking a bath, accused Akbar Ganchi allegedly recorded a video of her using a hidden camera. Later he threatened to make the video viral and allegedly sexually assaulted the woman and recorded that encounter as well.
