New Delhi, Feb. 27 -- As per the monthly accounts estimates released by the Ministry of Finance, the revenue receipts till January, 2026 of FY 2025-26 stood at Rs 27,08,654 crore, which translates into 79.5 per cent of corresponding RE 2025-26 of total receipts.
Net tax revenue to the Centre during the period was Rs 20,94,218 crore, while non-tax revenue stood at Rs 5,57,307 crore. Non-debt capital receipts were placed at Rs 57,129 crore.
The Centre transferred Rs 11,39,767 crore to states as tax devolution, which is Rs 65,588 crore higher than the amount transferred during the corresponding period of the previous year, the finance ministry statement added.
