Kolkata, Dec. 12 -- Trilokeshwar Shanku, the legendary character penned by Satyajit
Ray, is going to hit the silver screen for the first time on December 20.
Ray's actor Dhritiman Chatterjee who will be seen portraying Shanku in the upcoming
'Professor Shanku O El Dorado'; shared his thoughts exclusively with UNI. Here are
some excerpts.
Q: Finally, we are all set to have Professor Shanku on the big screen for the very first
time. When you read Shanku did you ever think you will be portraying the character
on screen?
A: As far as I know, Satyajit Ray never planned to turn Shanku into a movie. Maybe he
