Imphal, Dec. 6 -- Renowned filmmaker Haobam Paban Kumar departed Imphal on Saturday to participate in Indigenous Cinema: South Asian Perspectives, a three-day international gathering that will bring together filmmakers, scholars and artistes to explore Indigenous cinematic traditions across South Asia.
The event will be held from December 8 to 10, at New York University (NYU) in Abu Dhabi.
Organised by the Rights and Representation Research Forum, the programme is being held in collaboration with NYU Abu Dhabi's Film and New Media Programme and the Indigenous Film and Media Alliance, South Asia.
