Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 26 -- The Fifth International Kerala Studies Congress, organised by the AKG Centre for Research and Studies, will be held here in February, focusing on exploring new pathways for building 'Nava Kerala' amid contemporary social, economic, and political challenges.

The Kerala Studies Congress, held four times since 1994, has brought together national and international scholars, development experts, and public activists to collectively reflect on the future of the state.

Ideas that emerged from these earlier congresses significantly influenced policy perspectives and election manifestos of the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF).
