Ch. Sambhajinagar, Oct. 8 -- The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has launched a special campaign to curb the sale of adulterated and substandard food items during the festive season, resulting in the seizure of expired Goverdhan ghee stocks worth Rs 2.89 lakh in city.
Joint Commissioner D.V. Patil confirmed that the action was carried out by the local FDA office under the provisions of the Food Safety and Standards Act.
A team, led by Food Safety Officer Prashant Kuchekar, conducted an inspection at Paris Milk Foods Ltd., located at Group No. 191 on the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Mumbai Highway in Karodi.
