Dharshiva, Dec. 27 -- In a tragic accident, four persons, including a father and his son, were electrocuted on Saturday while attempting to retrieve a water pump from a well in Keshegaon village of Tuljapur taluka, Dharshiva district.
The incident occurred around noon in the field of a farmer identified as Ganpat Sakhare.
According to police officials investigating the case, a crane was being used to lift the motor from the well. During the operation, the upper part of the crane's boom reportedly came into contact with a high-voltage wire of a Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) transmission line.
