Nanded, Feb. 3 -- In a shocking incident driven by political ambition, a man allegedly murdered his seven-year-old daughter to remove a legal obstacle to contesting the village sarpanch election.
The case has taken a more disturbing turn with the revelation that the conspiracy involved not only the accused's wife, but also the village's sitting sarpanch.
The accused, Pandurang Kondmangle, is a resident of a village near Mukhed in Nanded district.
