Balrampur (UP), Oct. 27 -- A man and his son drowned along with their bullock cart and two oxen after the cart lost balance and fell into a pond in Balrampur district this morning. The duo was returning home after collecting fodder for their cattle when the accident took place.
According to police reports, the incident happened in Madarhwa village under the Lalia police station area, about 50 km from the district headquarters.
The victims were identified as Sahaj Ram (60) and his son Bholaram alias Deepak (24), both residents of Madarhwa village. The two were engaged in farming and had gone to their field, around 500 meters from their home, early this morning to fetch fodder.
