Fatehpur, Oct. 12 -- A married couple, Mukesh Nishad (35) and his wife Gudiya Devi (30), residents of Lamehta village, under the jurisdiction of Ghazipur police station in Fatehpur district, were found dead in their home under circumstances pointing to a serious domestic conflict.
The incident came to light early morning today when the couple's young daughter began crying.
Hearing the noise, the grandparents woke up and, upon checking the couple's room, discovered both lying dead in a pool of blood. They immediately informed local authorities.
Police, led by Ghazipur Station House Officer Hanuman Pratap Singh, arrived at the scene and began an investigation.
