New Delhi, Nov. 2 -- A 40-year-old man lost his life in a tragic road accident in the Sonia Vihar area, which lies in the northeast of the city, Delhi Police said today.

The incident occurred on October 30, around 10 p.m. near Annapurna Mandir, when two motorcycles reportedly collided, leading to the death of one of the riders, police said.

According to a senior officer, a team from Sonia Vihar police station rushed to the spot after receiving information about the accident. Upon arrival, they found two motorcycles, one bearing registration number DL 4S DF 4893 and another without a number plate, lying damaged on the road.
