Unnao, March 23 -- A tragic road accident occurred early Monday morning on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Unnao district, resulting in the death of a woman and injuries to more than 22 passengers.
According to initial reports, the incident took place around 7:00 AM near kilometer marker 239 under the jurisdiction of Bangarmau.
A sleeper bus travelling from Delhi to Lucknow lost control, collided with the central divider, and overturned.
The bus was carrying approximately 52 passengers at the time of the accident. Most of them were asleep when the sudden impact caused panic and chaos inside the vehicle. The force of the collision was so severe that some of the bus wheels reportedly detached.
