Srinagar, July 30 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Farooq Abdullah, today called upon the people of Jammu and Kashmir to rise above regional, religious, and linguistic differences in order to build a more inclusive and prosperous society.

He emphasized that unity and collective resolve are essential to safeguard the interests of the region and defeat the forces aiming to divide its people, a spokesman of the party said.

"We must remember that our strength lies in our diversity. The time has come for all communities regardless of region, religion, or language to stand together in the larger interest of peace, development, and dignity for all," Abdullah said while speaking at a public gathering
