Srinagar, Sept. 19 -- National Conference president and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah today paid rich tributes to ex Hurriyat chairman Abdul Gani Bhat, describing him as a civil and dignified individual and a moderate, courageous voice who championed dialogue over violence.
Bhat, a 90-year-old moderate Hurriyat leader, died last evening after a brief illness at his home in Sopore's Botengo village and was buried at his native village.
