Shahpur (Kangra), Sept. 22 -- Shahpur MLA and Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania today inaugurated a one-year diploma training programme for agricultural input professionals, organised by the Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) at the Appropriate Technology Institute (ATC) Shahpur.

Speaking on the occasion, Pathania said the initiative would prove to be a boon for farmers and horticulturists of the region.

He further said that after completing the training, trainees would be granted licences by ATMA to sell fertilizers and crop-related medicines, ensuring availability of quality agricultural inputs locally.
