Amethi (UP), Feb. 19 -- Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that the farmers of the country were going to Delhi for their rights, but where Narendra Modi erected a wall.
While addressing the public meeting in Amethi during his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, Rahul said that during the ongoing movement, the farmers are feeding the policemen but the same police are stopping them.
He said that first Narendra Modi made 3 laws for the farmers, now he is not fulfilling the demands of the farmers. "I have promised the people of the country that things will be in the interest of the farmers," he said.
