Solapur, Sept. 24 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today faced an unsavoury situation during his visit to flood-hit areas of Latur and Solapur districts when a farmer suddenly rushed in front of his convoy, attempting to stop the vehicles and present his grievance.
The incident created brief tension before security personnel moved the farmer aside and allowed the convoy to proceed.
Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister visited Nimgav and Darphal villages in Madha taluka, where he interacted with farmers and women affected by heavy rains and floods. Villagers, many in tears, narrated the extent of their losses and sought urgent government help.
