Patna, Aug. 11 -- Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha today said that the state government has introduced a special programme "Mushroom Component Scheme" (Mushroom Kit and Mushroom Hut) to increase farmers' income, ensuring nutritional security, and creating self-employment opportunities.
Sinha said here the primary objective of the scheme is to promote mushroom cultivation in the state while encouraging small and marginal farmers, women's self-help groups, and young entrepreneurs in production, processing, and marketing.
