Chandigarh, Feb. 12 -- In an administrative crackdown following the murder of Abdul Rehman, an accused in plotting an attack on Ram temple, Haryana Director General of Prisons Alok Mittal has suspended jail superintendent Harendra and DSP (Security) Sachin.

The action comes four days after Rehman was killed inside the high-security barracks of Neemka District Jail in Faridabad. The government has treated the incident as a severe security lapse, having previously removed a warder and a head warder from their posts.
