New Delhi, Nov. 18 -- A Singapore court has sentenced a 26-year-old Australian man, Johnson Wen, to nine days in prison for grabbing Hollywood star Ariana Grande during a movie premiere, BBC reported.
Wen was found guilty of public nuisance after the incident at last Thursday's Asia premiere of 'Wicked: For Good'. Videos circulating on social media show him leaping over barricades, rushing toward a visibly stunned Grande, and grabbing her by the shoulders while jumping excitedly.
The incident drew widespread outrage in Singapore, with many urging authorities to arrest and deport Wen, who is known for repeatedly disrupting concerts and celebrity events.
