Gautambudh Nagar, Nov. 20 -- The Noida Special Task Force (STF) on Wednesday arrested a man posing as a senior officer of India's external intelligence agency, RAW.

The accused, Sumit Kumar, was detained from Paramount Golf Forest Society in Greater Noida, where he had been living for nearly a year under false identities.

According to STF officials, Sumit Kumar often introduced himself alternately as "Major Amit" or a high-ranking RAW officer. During the raid, he was taken into custody barefoot, as security agencies remained on high alert following the recent car blast in Delhi.
