Nahan, Dec. 23 -- In a swift and alert operation, Police on Tuesday exposed and intercepted two fake police vehicles roaming the Haripurdhar main market area of in Sirmour district of Himachal Pradesh. According to official sources, two vehicles fitted with red beacons and bearing police-style number plates were seen moving suspiciously in the market area during the afternoon.
The presence of red lights and apparent official markings initially gave the impression of authorised police movement. However, the behaviour of the occupants raised suspicion among police personnel deployed in the area.
