Hyderabad, July 17 -- A major GST fraud has come to light in Hyderabad, where M/s Bala Corporation, operating under the name of proprietor Sri Nasari Vinod Kumar, was found to have fraudulently obtained GST registration by submitting fake electricity bills for a non-existent address in Khairatabad - Somajiguda-1 Circle of Panjagutta Division.
Though the firm was registered for trading in toys and video games, it generated 1,268 e-way bills during March and April 2025 for unrelated goods such as cement, copper pipes, and plywood.
