Nanded, Nov. 11 -- A fake Facebook account impersonating former Nanded District Collector and IAS officer Abhijit Rawat has been detected, prompting warnings about the possible misuse of personal information and potential online scams. The fraudulent profile has reportedly been sending friend requests to several individuals, raising concerns about identity theft and cyber fraud.
In response, Rawat issued a public advisory on Tuesday through his verified social media page, cautioning citizens against accepting any friendship requests purporting to come from him.
