Ch. Sambhajinagar, Nov. 16 -- Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has said that former Maharashtra Chief Minister Vasantrao Naik's work in drought management, water conservation and agricultural self-reliance continues to shape the state's governance even today.

He described Naik as a visionary leader whose policies brought major reforms during difficult periods and laid strong foundations for Maharashtra's long-term development.

Fadnavis was speaking at the unveiling of a full-length statue of the late leader in the Cidco area of Ch. Sambhajinagar.
