Mumbai, July 18 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister in the presence of Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw, today inaugurated the first campus of the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IITC) at the NFDC complex, Pedder Road, in south Mumbai.
The centre aims to innovate, upscale the learning in graphics and cutting-edge digital skills and make India the global hub for entertainment technology.
On the occasion, Fadnavis announced Rs 400 crore to develop the international-level IICT campus in Filmcity, Goregaon (east) in multiple phases.
International tech giants like META, Apple and others will be collaborating with IICT. Industry will be part of the integrated learning in this campus.
