Mumbai, Dec. 8 -- Despite strained relations over the past few weeks between the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde appeared to send a message of reconciliation on the eve of the Maharashtra Legislature's winter session by travelling together to Nagpur in the same private aircraft.

The development comes against the backdrop of resentment within the Mahayuti alliance, especially over BJP allegedly poaching leaders from its own partner parties.
