Hyderabad, Dec. 17 -- An extortion case has been registered at Shalibanda Police Station against Mohammed Bilal, who was projecting himself as a YouTube reporter.

According to the complaint, the accused allegedly demanded Rs 35,000 from a party, falsely claiming that he could "manage" their case at the police station and ensure that they would not be arrested.

He reportedly threatened the complainant with arrest if the amount was not paid and intimidated them on several occasions in a similar manner.

Based on the available evidence, the police have arrested the accused in connection with the case.
