Pune, Nov. 27 -- A major scare gripped the Vidyanagar area near Saikrupa Lodge, Galli No. 8 in Tingrenagar, Pune, after gelatin sticks and detonator wires - typically used in explosives - were found abandoned near a tin-sheet gate on an open plot today. The discovery sparked panic among local residents, creating an atmosphere of fear in the vicinity.
According to police, a sanitation worker from the Vidyanagar Health Post was carrying out routine cleaning when she noticed a sack lying suspiciously by the roadside. On checking, it appeared to contain explosive-like material, prompting her to inform the police immediately.
