Exploring Himalayan region's intersections, expressions, care practices

Dimapur, Aug. 20 -- Nagaland University (NU) and University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) jointly organised an international workshop named 'Ecologies of Care' for a collaborative dialogue to explore the Himalayan region's various intersections, expressions and care practices.

Over 150 participants attended the workshop held in Kohima, a varsity release said today.

In his opening remark, chief guest of the event Prof Jagadish K Patnaik, VC, Nagaland University, lauded the university's history and archaeology department for continuously making significant strides in research and collaboration by foregrounding Naga cultural heritage and Indigenous epistemologies.
