New Delhi, Jan. 19 -- The Delhi High Court on Monday rejected the bail plea of Kuldeep Singh Sengar in the custodial death case of the father of the Unnao gang-rape victim.

The Delhi High Court on Monday rejected a plea by expelled BJP leader Kuldeep Singh Sengar to suspend a 10-year prison sentence imposed for his role in the custodial death of the father of a rape survivor from Uttar Pradesh.

Justice Ravinder Dudeja said the court found no grounds to grant interim relief, dismissing Sengar's application for suspension of sentence while his appeal against conviction is pending.
