New Delhi, Feb. 5 -- Multiple exit polls on Wednesday predicted BJP winning the tightly-contested Delhi assembly election comfortably while ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is seen losing the electoral battle.
The pollsters have forecast a complete rout of the Congress party with the grand old party barely in the race. Most exit polls pegged Congress tally at 0-2 seats in the 70-member Delhi assembly.
Counting of votes is scheduled on February 8, 2025.
The BJP which is seen making a comeback in Delhi after nearly 27 years is projected to win 35-60 seats. Among various pollsters, Peoples Pulse has pegged 51-60 seats for the BJP, the highest tally for the party. It has projected 10-19 seats for AAP while zero seats for the Congress.
