Thane, Dec. 7 -- The State Excise Department seized 2,805 litres of illegal country liquor during a major raid conducted on Saturday in Bhodi Desai village of Thane district.
Officials stated that the total value of the confiscated liquor and associated materials is estimated at around three lakh rupees. Two individuals were taken into custody following the operation, which was prompted by intelligence inputs about rising illicit liquor activity in the area.
