Latur, Nov. 26 -- The State Excise Department has permanently revoked the licenses of two permit rooms in Latur district for serious violations of liquor regulations, authorities confirmed on Wednesday. The action affects establishments located in Hipparga and Aashiv villages of Ausa taluka.
The cancellations followed a directive from the District Collector, who acted on reports confirming that the permit rooms had been selling liquor sourced from Goa, which is a clear violation of excise laws. The licenses of M Hotel Aarush FL-3 (license number 733) in Hipparga and M Hotel Swapnaparsh FL-3 (license number 671) in Aashiv have been officially revoked.
