New Delhi, April 9 -- In a major boost to the Indian National Congress ahead of the Lok Sabha election, former Union Minister and BJP leader Birender Singh on Tuesday joined the party at the AICC headquarters here.
The former Rajya Sabha MP joined the party alongwith his wife Prem Lata who represented the Uchana Kalan constituency in Haryana as an MLA.
Birender Singh joined the Congress in presence former Haryana Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Bhupindra Singh Hooda, general secretaries Randeep Surjewala and Mukul Wasnik, Chairman media and publicity Pawan Khera , party treasurer Ajay Maken and other party leaders.
