Mumbai, Jan. 6 -- An Ex-Serviceman who was working as a security guard in a jewellery showroom in the Andheri area in the city's suburb, committed suicide by shooting himself with his licensed revolver at his residence, a police official said here on Tuesday.
No suicide note was found.
The local police station registered an offence of accidental death and are investigating the matter.
Police said the reason behind the incident is not clear, and they have not found any suicide note. The reason for the suicide will become clear only after investigation.
The deceased, identified as Prabhakar Ojha, 45, lived in the Kandivali area with his wife and two sons aged 14 years and 12 years.
