Mumbai, Jan. 31 -- Former Reserve Bank of India Governor Raghuram Rajan met Shiv Sena (UBT) President and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray at his residence here late on Tuesday night.
The meeting between Rajan and Thackeray was described as a 'courtesy call' .
Rajan, 60, was welcomed warmly with a bouquet of flowers by Uddhav, his wife Rashmi and their son Yuva Sena Chief and Worli MLA Aditya besides environmentalist Tejas, at the family home, 'Matoshri' in Bandra east.
Party sources said that issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting, held in a cordial atmosphere, though details were not revealed.
