Mumbai, June 14 -- Former Senior Police Inspector of NRI Coastal police station, Satish Kadam, facing corruption charges, possesses assets worth Rs 3.48 crore which was more than his known sources of income, the Mumbai Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) said here on Saturday which has registered a case against him under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Kadam was arrested in September 2024 when caught red-handed accepting a Rs 3.5 lakh bribe.

The ACB had seized a large sum of cash from his residence in neighbouring new Mumbai city , prompting a detailed inquiry ordered by the bureau's Director General.
